Beautiful Ghosts

This room is haunted, a lucid flow of souls pour through
beauty scribed upon their faces, and in the middle, I find you

You can’t love me back, I guess it finally shows
and now you’ve turned away, another beautiful ghost

The world it turns to darkness, and for reasons no one knows
and in the silence I am haunted, by these beautiful ghosts

 

The luminescence that surrounds you, it draws me in like moth to flame
and as the world revolves around you, you won’t let me do the same

A remedy that cannot cure me, a sickness I can’t overcome
and I’m lost within this image, all that you are it comes undone
