THANK YOU
There are so many people I want to thank for believing in me and supporting my music. I have found inspiration and encouragement through so many places and people. Even people who didn't stick around. The very term "Beautiful Ghosts" was inspired by the way people would come into my life, make some sort of impact and then vanish, never to be heard from again. It was also inspired by the people I see who go out into the world and despite the energy and emotion and passion that they pour out, they feel invisible - as if they don't belong here. If you are one of those people, I just want to assure you - you DO belong, and you ARE an inspiration.
The following list is of very specific people I want to say a personal thank you to. I will be updating the list as time goes on, so feel free to check back from time to time. I assure you, names won't be removed, but you never know when someone or something will impact you.
Megan, you are first on this list for so many reasons. You are the reason behind multiple songs (Take A Minute, Let You Down, Before I Said I Could Fall) and have brought a new side of me to life. Since knowing you, I have become confident, developed the courage to take stage and perform and even to broadcast performances live in front of the entire world. You came into my life and made me feel invincible. I have no problem saying to you directly, in front of the whole world, I love you.
Heather and Joe - you guys have been my family. You are always cheering me on, encouraging me to keep fighting for the things I want and to overcome every obstacle. You two, and your beautiful daughter Elaina, are all very dear to me. Thank you for being such amazing friends and for believing in me.
Mom - you've always been the shining example of love, strength, and courage. You don't let anything take you down, and even cancer could not stop you. I am blessed to have a warrior for a mother, and making you proud of me has honestly not only been a goal I've been proud to accomplish, but one that I continue to strive for on a regular basis. I love you, mom.
Grace, Darren, Ethan and Jonathan... ah, my sweet blessings in life. You are the very reasons blood pours through my veins. Daddy does everything for you - to maybe leave behind some sort of legacy, a way to remember me when I am gone - and to hopefully inspire and encourage you that no matter how dark things get in this world, you keep moving forward and you thrive to reach your dreams and goals. Manifest everything you want in your lives. Daddy loves you!
Leigha, Lexi, and Billy - meeting your mother has been an incredible blessing I am very grateful for and because of that, I have the blessing of knowing the three of you. You have cheered on my livestreams, you have enjoyed my singing and brought me many smiles with lots of laughter. I'm so glad I've met you all, and I look forward to knowing you more and more.
Derrick - You have always had such an incredible vision when it comes to music and recording "Love the Way You Lie" with you is still one of my absolute favorite moments in my musical endeavors. I look forward to seeing what you can do with my newer music and experiencing the magic you bring to life with it.
Chris - Broken Canvas has always been an inspiration. The music you have written has made an impact on my life and has even inspired one of my books. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with you on that song and bring SPACE to life in a different way as we have done. Nothing can ever beat your original version of the song, but I am still so proud of what we brought to life with it.
Sheila - Aside from music, you are one constant that has remained in my life and helped me through the dark times. You encourage me and believe in me, and I am grateful for you. Thank you for always being what and who you are.
Brooke, Rosie, Ashley, Rob, Jean, Chelsea, Chelsie, Chuck T, Shaun, Joe O, Dave & Theresa, Emily, Emily C, Craig, Stephen, Tori, Josh, Jason, Trina, Jeremy, Sara, Kelsey, Timmy, Maegan, and the many others who have shown support and been around for the music, for friendship, and for all of the good times we all share - thank you.
